| The Jade Corporation, a long-time provider of innovative manufacturing solutions, announced that it has achieved site-wide registration to the ISO-9001 (1994) standard for quality management systems. The Jade Corporation earned ISO 9001 registration for all of its services, including custom automated machines and systems, precision machining and tooling, precision stamping, cable harnesses, and contract manufacturing of electromechanical assemblies. Based on exacting quality standards established in 1985 by the International Organization for Standardization, ISO-9001 certification is recognized internationally as a benchmark of quality management and assurance. Jade’s ISO-9001 certification reflects the company’s strict adherence to these high quality standards in its design, build and manufacturing processes. “ISO-9001 certification provides customers a documented guarantee that Jade follows the procedures necessary to ensure that its products and services meet or exceed our customers’ expectations and needs,” said Dave Hartman, Quality Manager for Jade. “We provide a consistent, world-class level of quality in all areas of design and production. The ISO-9001 certification confirms Jade’s commitment to the design, manufacture and build of superior products.” The ISO-9001 series standards address the prevention, detection and correction of problems that occur during the production process and focus on the design, development and servicing capabilities of manufacturing companies. Certification is awarded after an extensive period of total quality education and implementation of total quality principles. The program is administered by an independent ISO-9001 auditor who approves registration when ISO-9001 standards are met. “Jade is diverse in the types of products and services we provide, and because of this, process control is key,” added Hartman. “Having a foundation of ISO-compliant systems enables us to meet our customers’ needs with high confidence.” |
